ArtistInline is a directory of music artists, compiled from public sources. These terms describe what it is, where the information comes from, and how to have something corrected or removed.
What this site offers
ArtistInline is an informational directory. Nothing on it is for sale, there is no account system, no payment processing and no booking — browsing is the entire service.
No artist listed here has any relationship with ArtistInline, has agreed to appear, or is being offered as available for anything. Being included reflects that an artist is publicly documented, nothing more.
Artist names and trademarks belong to their owners. Their appearance here is descriptive — it does not imply endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship in either direction.
Artist information
Factual details are compiled from publicly available sources and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Biographies are short summaries written for the directory, not authorised statements from artists or their teams.
Corrections are welcome and takedown requests are honoured without question — any artist or authorised representative can have a profile removed on request, with no justification required.
"Rising" orderings and similar editorial groupings reflect curation by us. They are not chart positions, streaming metrics or measurements of anything.
Song listings name an artist’s best-known releases. They are not ranked by play count and are not sourced from any streaming service.
Imagery
Artist photographs are freely-licensed images sourced from Wikimedia Commons, mostly under Creative Commons licences. Each one is credited to its photographer, with its licence, wherever it appears. No press or promotional photography is used, because this project holds no licence for any.
Where no suitable freely-licensed photograph exists, the portrait shown is a generated placeholder rather than a picture of the artist. Release artwork is generated in every case and is never the real cover art.
A photograph appearing here does not imply the photographer or subject endorses this site. If you hold rights in an image used here and want it removed, it will be removed on request.
Changes
These terms and the features they describe will change as the product does. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
